What We Are Building
Four components, built in sequence.
THE FARM
A working agricultural plot for vegetables, fruit, and livestock. Food for the family, and eventually for the community.
THE LEARNING CENTER
A small think tank and archive focused on Black land ownership, cooperative economics, and self-governance in the Black Belt.
THE MAKERSPACE
A workshop for trades, crafts, and small-scale production. Tools, training, and space to build.
THE ARCHIVE
Boddie family papers, photographs, and oral histories, preserved and made accessible.
PHASE ONE: Clear and prepare 1.5 acres. Establish water and access. Begin the Archive.
